Fewer physical samples!
The all-in-one digital service center for brands and suppliers that scales the 3D design process through a digital pipeline implementation.
sampLess is a Digital Hub that produces digital assets “as a service" for all different branches of Industry: apparel, footwear, accessories, homeware are some examples.
Our mission is to enable brands and suppliers of all sizes and industrial branches to access the digital world and become digital-ready partners in the global ecosystem.
sampLess combines the knowledge and experience of a multidisciplinary team of 3D artists with fashion designers and industrial engineers with previous experience in managing digital projects for high-end brands.
Our work combines a series of Ecofriendly technologies to not alter or misuse raw materials, as it does the old methods of clothing brands creations.
We are located in the North of Portugal as well as in the South of Spain with our commercial partner WBAB in the heart of the textile cluster and we have accumulated our knowledge of practical approaches, immersed in the industry, from digital product creation to industrial integration.
It all starts with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a new product. Maybe you want to change the style of an existing one with new materials. Or maybe you just want some inspiring ideas to share with your team or even the electronic world. With the use of digital sampling, you can do all of this virtually with just a few clicks.
By being able to visualize new designs in 3D, brands can reduce reliance on physical samples by up to 75%.
WBAB in conjunction with the company’s SampLess technology, is the all-in-one digital service center for brands and suppliers that scales the 3D design process through a digital pipeline implementation.
We focus on saving energy, time and money involved in the process of creating any apparel brand, such process we apply is environmentally friendly, creating the minimum of waste and surplus.
We also think about you and your capital, so we think about the efficiency in time and money to give you the best results for you, below you can see a graph describing our production processes.
- Digitization – Each digital material is a real material that comes in digital form.
- Input => Physical Material (Raw Material)
- Output => Digital Samples (Digital Textures + Metadata)
Our material digitization service includes:
Fabric preparation, 3D scanning with capture of all properties (colors, roughness, reflections, patterns), mosaicking (building the design in blocks to ensure scale), rendering, photography, videography and metadata populating.
3D Modeling – 3D modeling is the geometric representation of the shape and volumetry of an object in 3D.
Input: 2D patterns or CAD files
Output: 3D models / Fit blocks
A fit block is a base pattern that does not change for measurements and balancing, representing the desired fit for multiple styles within the range of a mark.
The uniqueness comes from the choice of materials and design details to be introduced at the style level.
“Realistic" 3D renderings to quickly explore thousands of design alternatives without investing in physical prototypes, changing the traditional product development cycle from design> compile> test> repair to design> analysis> test> compile.
Designers and manufacturers can digitally design, iterate, optimize, validate and visualize their products throughout the product development process, prior to manufacturing, bringing products to market faster and facilitating product innovation.
Input: DIGITALIZATION and 3D modeling + styling and fit specifications
Output: hyper-realistic static renderings
